Abu Dhabi Development: A cool City (Saadiyat Island)

Here I am going to talk about all the projects that are going to be finished by 2018 on Saadiyat Island. I will mention many points that are related to the city's relationship with the environment and their affectiveness.

Firstly, the website of the island project didn't show enough information and description of the energy saving features. Disseminators and foremen didn't care to show adequate detail on the website about the environmental benefits of this project. They have to use green technology and use clean fuel that doesn't cause damage to the environment like solar energy and other hybrid energy for transport, for the use of green areas and for the reduction of any thing that may affect the environment negatively. What is more, the website didn't give a logical description about the ways that the green house emissions will be reduced and besides the known methods, there should be heightened awareness of the importance of the greenhouse effects and the correct ways to deal with this problem.

In conclusion, from my reading about this island project from the web site I didn't get enough formation about environmental goals and plans. In addition, the tourism and trading developments were described in details and broadly. I think this island project deserves "D" green mark for it's proposal for development.

Cool Cities

People worldwide are looking to use technology in a positive way to help reduce global warming. Here I will talk about using this modern technology to build new green cities that have perfect running systems. So I will mention the possible adaptations that may or may not work in my opinion.

One way to benefit from a hot environment is to produce clean energy from cities and reduce carbon emissions by 60% and so play a part in reducing global warming. Those cities will contain many aspects like business and public zones, residential zones, cultural and sports zones and resort zones.

Also, there will be solar powered plant farms surrounded by Jatropha forest to prevent sand shifting. What is more, cities will build canals and rich green areas to make the climate more balanced and the use of natural air, water and light. In addition, there will be hybrid cars and underground trains which will help transport people. The main plan is to depend on air, water, light as natural sources to produce clean and inexpensive energy.

In conclusion, this was a brief description about cities that are going to be built in the next few years. I think these projected models of cities are good, but may need to be built on a bigger scale to have a more significant global warming reduction.

My opinion about the "an inconvenient truth video"

Here I will talk give my opinion about the "An inconvenient truth video". I will speak about reasons which support what I believe.

I think the video included many aspects political, scientific and artistic. Firstly, I believe Al Gore's speech was political because he stated that global warming is a problem faced by the whole planet and not only the USA. In addition, he talked about many countries that have the same effect on environmental change and damages. On the other hand, I think his article was scientific since he took a lot of facts which he got from scientists around the world. Also he compared normal averages of changes and what is going on these days and concluded that the resulting curve in the diagram is a dangerous sign. Finally, I believe all this was artistically achieved and it was organized with enough evidence to support Al Gore research and theories. The government should regulate all harmful emissions in our environment and get organized. Also it will put new strong rules to let us work for the good of the earth.

In conclusion, nothing will disappear in the next few years, but we all should work together and forget our selfish designs. If we started this we will succeed as Al Gore pointed out and environment will return into a normal balance.

Summary of "An inconvenient truth video"

Here I am going to talk about Al Gore who created a video about global warming entitled "An inconvenient truth". Overall, I will give you a general idea about this video and I will mention the important facts and figures.

Firstly, I will talk about Al Gore, who was the Vice President of USA for 8 years. He made this video which includes a lot of action from his life and his efforts to reduce global warming not only in his country, but worldwide, this is an attempt to save the earth and let the natural balance be readjusted to levels like a thousand years ago. He used green trees and rivers to express this point along with nature including other species (animals and plants) and made us feel regret about what is happening these days. Also, he encouraged us to change our feelings to the environment about the damage that we are causing. In addition, he mentioned that the vast majority of the land mass and vegetation is in the northern hemisphere. Moreover, glaciers are melting around the worlds which supply about 40% of people drinking water and threaten lives. Oceans also affected by global warming and have resulted in many hurricanes, increases in sea level, tornados and melting of icecaps. These big changes had an effect on ecological niches and many species are dying many others species are endangered.

In conclusion, if global warming doesn't stop it will increase the temperature further and the sea level will rise and a lot of coastal cities will disappear. So an immediate action should be taken before it becomes too late.

Introducton to the Global Warming

Firstly, the Global Warming is the dramatic increase in the earth's temperature in recent times. I will talk about causes of the Global Warming in detail. One reason is due to is increasing the population quickly and this makes a big increase in the use of gases and of fossil fuels. This in turn means that the levels of greenhouse is increasing which produces more carbon dioxide, Methane and Nitrous Oxide emissions which are all greenhouse gases and make the city full of contaminated emissions . Moreover, CO2 emissions from cars, automobiles and airplane pollutants are making the situation worse especially as aviation is developing and using a lot of fuel without any interest in the environmental issues.

Another major cause is the industry which produces double the pollution that vehicles do. Furthermore, there are many factories which use a large amount of wood, so they destroy forests to get easy and cheap sources without being responsible about the earth future.

In my opinion people should be more aware of Global Warming because it should not be so great a problem, it is a challenge that faces all human life on earth. I think people must reduce all use of power sources that cause environmental problems. It is a good idea to use clean renewable resources and green technology.

The Global Warming and the Earth's Future

I would like to talk about myself. My name is Mhamoud Al Beloushi I am 20 years old and I live in Al Ain. I have many hobbies and activities which I used to do like playing football, hand ball and driving bikes.

Currently I am a student at ADMC and studying Paramedics. I learned many new ideas and my thinking method changed after I started studying this major. Now I am more likely to help people and appreciate the group's work. What is more, I just believe that humankind is the richest worth we have to save and develop.

Here in this BlogSpot I hope to have your attention and let you all think about both humanity and the earth's future. This leads us to solve the critical problems that face the globe. One of the most dangerous phenomenons is Global Warming. This problem started with the industrial age and affected the ozone layer which protects the earth from universal radiation. By the time pollution increased problems for the earth develop alongside. Not only man got hurt from this trouble, but all animals and plants species.
