Cool Cities

People worldwide are looking to use technology in a positive way to help reduce global warming. Here I will talk about using this modern technology to build new green cities that have perfect running systems. So I will mention the possible adaptations that may or may not work in my opinion.

One way to benefit from a hot environment is to produce clean energy from cities and reduce carbon emissions by 60% and so play a part in reducing global warming. Those cities will contain many aspects like business and public zones, residential zones, cultural and sports zones and resort zones.

Also, there will be solar powered plant farms surrounded by Jatropha forest to prevent sand shifting. What is more, cities will build canals and rich green areas to make the climate more balanced and the use of natural air, water and light. In addition, there will be hybrid cars and underground trains which will help transport people. The main plan is to depend on air, water, light as natural sources to produce clean and inexpensive energy.

In conclusion, this was a brief description about cities that are going to be built in the next few years. I think these projected models of cities are good, but may need to be built on a bigger scale to have a more significant global warming reduction.

My opinion about the "an inconvenient truth video"

Here I will talk give my opinion about the "An inconvenient truth video". I will speak about reasons which support what I believe.

I think the video included many aspects political, scientific and artistic. Firstly, I believe Al Gore's speech was political because he stated that global warming is a problem faced by the whole planet and not only the USA. In addition, he talked about many countries that have the same effect on environmental change and damages. On the other hand, I think his article was scientific since he took a lot of facts which he got from scientists around the world. Also he compared normal averages of changes and what is going on these days and concluded that the resulting curve in the diagram is a dangerous sign. Finally, I believe all this was artistically achieved and it was organized with enough evidence to support Al Gore research and theories. The government should regulate all harmful emissions in our environment and get organized. Also it will put new strong rules to let us work for the good of the earth.

In conclusion, nothing will disappear in the next few years, but we all should work together and forget our selfish designs. If we started this we will succeed as Al Gore pointed out and environment will return into a normal balance.

Summary of "An inconvenient truth video"

Here I am going to talk about Al Gore who created a video about global warming entitled "An inconvenient truth". Overall, I will give you a general idea about this video and I will mention the important facts and figures.

Firstly, I will talk about Al Gore, who was the Vice President of USA for 8 years. He made this video which includes a lot of action from his life and his efforts to reduce global warming not only in his country, but worldwide, this is an attempt to save the earth and let the natural balance be readjusted to levels like a thousand years ago. He used green trees and rivers to express this point along with nature including other species (animals and plants) and made us feel regret about what is happening these days. Also, he encouraged us to change our feelings to the environment about the damage that we are causing. In addition, he mentioned that the vast majority of the land mass and vegetation is in the northern hemisphere. Moreover, glaciers are melting around the worlds which supply about 40% of people drinking water and threaten lives. Oceans also affected by global warming and have resulted in many hurricanes, increases in sea level, tornados and melting of icecaps. These big changes had an effect on ecological niches and many species are dying many others species are endangered.

In conclusion, if global warming doesn't stop it will increase the temperature further and the sea level will rise and a lot of coastal cities will disappear. So an immediate action should be taken before it becomes too late.
